Memorandum of the Ministry

[3]. Aims:

• To teach them Christ’s love, and bring them to the saving grace of God.
• To provides a true family like care and shelter. A home atmosphere to the orphans.
• To educate the orphans.
• To provide a care centre for the elderly ones to express themselves.
• To provide shelter to the homeless elderly people.

[4]  Priority:

· Care and support to the Orphans

· Care and support to the elderly people.

· Church planting and evangelism.

· Training to the Church leaders.

[5]. Scope.

Being a destitute boy through out his life until youth, the founder president Mr. Imsutoshi Jamir [or I. Toshi Jamir] had a deep concern for such people like orphans and elderly people. From 1991 he began to share his vision to people whom he trust. After various consultation had been made with few like minded people, he began this ministry with one committed person in 2000. The two had met and after sincere prayer, had selected few people to be approached to help. Eventually they were willing to carry the vision. That is how it was formed in August 2001.

Thus in August 8^th & 9^th it had its first meeting with seven [7], members as its executive members.

· To provide basic nutrition to orphans, elderly people. By keeping them in orphanage and care centre for elderly people.

· To help them grow spiritually strong through bible reading, and study. Involving them in singing and church worship etc.

·To make them participate in some practical work etc. for physical activeness and growth.

II. The Articles of The Ministry

Article 1. Defination:

• “Ministries” which means Caring Neighborhood Ministries. It’s short form is C.N.M.
• “Acts” which means Society Registration Act of 1968 of the State of Nagaland.

Articles  3. Statement of Faith:

We believe in:-

• The Holy Scripture composed of sixty six books of both OT and NT as originally given by God, uniquely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and in conduct. One God eternally existent in three persons,- Father, Son and Holy Spirit, active in the works of creations, providence, and redemption.
• The full deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ. His virgin birth, His vicarious atonement, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and his ministry in the world as the only Savior and final judge of all mankind.
• The dignity of mankind created in the image of God, his subsequent fall and universal sinfulness, and his need for justification and regeneration appropriated through personal repentance and faith in Christ.
• The Holy Spirit by whose work of sanctification and indwelling the believers are enable to live a holy life to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ and to serve responsively in the contemporary world.
• The spiritual unity of the believers in Christ, comprising the Church- The body of Christ visibly express in worship, fellowship, and service in society.
• The personal return of Jesus Christ in power and in glory to consummate His kingdom and the resurrection of all men either to eternal death or to eternal life.

Articles 4. Composition of the ministry

• President, Secretary, Treasure, are the persons permanently appoint for the ministry, unless otherwise compelled by a circumstances to leave the ministry. The also will have voting right in all executive board decision.
• There will be an advisor who normally will elect from the executive board members. He will also have a voting right in the executive board meeting. He will have a tuner of five years, but can be reelected for another term.
• There will be four members in the executive board. They will have a tuner of five years, however can be reelected for another term.
